Authors
Professor Lin Yi serves as chief physician at the Second Teaching Hospital of the Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. She has been engaged in clinical practice of Chinese external medicine for more than 40 years, from which she has gained accomplishments in the study of surgical disease, particularly pertaining to mastopathy. Dr. Lin normalized the pattern differentiation of breast hyperplasia, brought forward the research approach of normalization of pattern differentiation on the basis of phase-division of breast cancer, built up a systematic theory of Chinese medical periodical treatment for breast hyperplasia, created the characteristic therapy of hole type wound-cauterization with fire needles for the treatment of breast mastitis and combined the midday-midnight point selection theory with the principle of tonifying the kidney, invigorating the spleen and regenerating the marrow in the treatment of medulla suppression caused by chemotherapy for breast cancer.
