On this disk, a longitudinal and horizontal coordinate method is adopted to determine the location of acupoints on the basis of surface anatomy. This method is a combination of both the acupoints location, according to national standard, and the clinical experiences. This method presents an accurate, quick and easy to master way of locating acupoints. It also presents a way of treating common diseases using only one acupoint. It is a collection of the clinical experiences of many acupuncturists, showing how just a few acupoints can have high efficacy.
